I have a late 2007 MBP and installed Kingston SSD into it. Each time when I turn on FileVault2, I get a ptrrucoed file system. I can run months without any signs of corruption, so it is not a disk issue. But turn it on, reboot, encrypt, check -> ptrrucoed file system.May be it is specific just for me, but I would recommend to run Disk Utility and check the encrypted disk right after encryption. And do not forget backups, of course.

There's really no best oenbtok, as all models will have their respective pro's and con's. Important things for you to consider are how important battery life is to you, how big of a screen do you want, and what type of operating system you plan to use.If you really want long battery life, I would recommend getting a smaller sized laptop or a oenbtok. I'm not sure how big of a screen you are looking for, but the Acer Aspire One has great battery life and also a 10.1 display.It has enough power to do all of the light things that you would typically need for school work. It has the necessities of built in Wi-Fi, built in webcam, Windows XP instead of Vista and so on. Well i've been always iestretned in the latest news about this technology. -For example there is TRIM which is still not really supported in OSX but in Win7.What would be the consequences of using an SSD without trimming, does it have any effects on the lifetime?-What type of typicall users are more SSD killers thank others?-What are the future expectations about prices, top speeds, cost effectiveness?-Should we buy now or save some for the upcoming product line in the next few months?-What do we gain if we wait and spend a little more?-What are the typical advantages of each OCZ SSD product lines measured not just in exp. hours and theoretic speed?-Is there a mad raid set made of OCZ SSDs with an extreme speed? (i'm sure there must be )-Some OCZ SSD/technology/manufacturing porn /art -Are there any special experiences in the factories?-Who and based on what creates the design of the boxes and visual materials? that's all now it's 3:15 am

I'd like to see tips on keeping the drive free of cdpliuate files. How to optimize the performance of OCZ drives. (although the Agility-II that I have now is really fast) Occasional posting of any software that will help us to get the most out of our ownership of your SSD drives would be a plus, and links to any firmware updates would always be welcomed.Lastly, advanced notifications of your future product offerings, so we can save up for them.
